Job summary

Prototek in Madison, WI is seeking an AM Technician to support daily production, operate additive equipment, and deliver high-quality parts across industries.

You will handle build starts, machine setups, post-processing, and inspections, with ITAR U.S. Person requirements. This is an on-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in additive manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of 3D printing technologies and materials.
• Ability to read prints or 3D files.
• Comfortable working hands-on in a production environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute build startups, machine setups, and material handling
• Support SLA/DLP, SLS/MJF, and FDM printing operations
• Perform powder handling, vat swaps, and machine calibrations

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred
