Job summary

Prototek is seeking a Finishing Technician II to join our fast-paced digital manufacturing team in the United States. You will apply intermediate to advanced finishing techniques to prototype and production parts, including finishing, painting, and post-processing, while ensuring quality and adherence to prints.

The role supports daily production in a on-site environment with a standard M-F 8a-5p shift and a competitive pay range. Health benefits and retirement options are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience as Finishing Technician preferred.
• Basic understanding of 3D printing technologies and materials.
• Comfortable working hands-on in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints, specifications, and 3D files to identify finishing requirements.
• Perform intermediate and advanced post-processing and finishing on printed, cast urethane, and machined parts.
• Operate HVLP paint equipment to apply high-quality finishes.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Follow prints and finishing procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred
