Prototek is seeking an AM Technician (Weekends) to join a fast-paced digital manufacturing team in Wisconsin. You will operate additive equipment, support daily production, and deliver high-quality parts across diverse industries.

Responsibilities include startup and calibration, material handling, post-processing, and inspections. This weekend role emphasizes hands-on production and adherence to quality standards in an ITAR-compliant, on-site facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in additive manufacturing (preferred).
• Basic understanding of 3D printing technologies and materials.
• Ability to read prints or 3D files.

Responsibilities

• Execute build startups, machine setups, and material handling.
• Support SLA/DLP, SLS/MJF, and FDM printing operations.
• Perform powder handling, vat swaps, and machine calibrations.
• Conduct post-processing and finishing operations.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure part quality.
• Maintain equipment and support preventative maintenance.
