Job summary

The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa in Portland, Maine, is seeking a Part-Time AM Server to join our Food & Beverage team. The AM Server greets guests, takes food and beverage orders, and ensures a smooth dining experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Morning shift runs Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM with flexibility to pick up additional PM and banquet shifts. A friendly, team-oriented professional who communicates well will thrive here; TIPS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• TIPS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Monitor order timing and ensure prompt, accurate service.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Restock service items throughout the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the outlet.
• Support fellow servers, hosts, food runners, and supervisors.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when needed.
• Follow all Maine liquor laws and hotel safety procedures.
• Assist with training new team members as needed.
