Job summary

Omni La Mansion del Rio, situated along the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio, seeks a Server to provide prompt, courteous service to guests and uphold Omni Moments of Service Standards. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year serving experience in a high-volume environment.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC or obtain upon hire.
• Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling and presenting specialty cocktails.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers.
• Ability to input information into MICROS accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and welcoming demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Wait on tables promptly and courteously to provide genuine guest care.
• Greet guests with a smile and excellent service.
• Take orders and answer questions on food, beverages, and daily specials; suggest menu items.
• Communicate dietary needs and preferences to the culinary team.
• Record transactions in MICROS and adhere to cash handling standards.
• Check guest satisfaction after courses and payments; present accurate checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and service stations.
• Set up and break down stations; perform side work as assigned.
