Job summary

You will know the menu, upsell items, handle payments, and work with a team to maintain cleanliness and smooth service, including events and catering as needed. This role requires high school education or related experience, alcohol awareness certification, and friendly, compliant guest service.

Qualifications

• High school education or related experience.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices.
• Ability to provide friendly guest service and comply with ordering/food handling guidelines.
• Process guest checks and handle payments per policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, seat them, and provide menus.
• Take orders accurately and note special requests.
• Serve food and beverages and verify order accuracy.
• Know the menu and offer recommendations.
• Upsell appetizers, sides, desserts, and drinks.
• Keep tables clean, reset for new guests.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, attentive manner.
• Present checks, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service team for smooth service.
• Maintain sanitation and hygiene in the dining area.
• Assist with special events and catering as needed.
