Job summary

Omni Providence Hotel in Providence, RI seeks a Room Service Attendant to ensure quick, efficient and professional service, including knowledge of the menu, accurate delivery and presentation of orders per MOS standards. You will assist guests and coordinate service with team members to maintain high-quality guest experiences.

Flexibility is required, including nights, weekends and holidays; prior food and beverage experience is preferred and TIPS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have prior food & beverage experience in fine dining or hotel
• Room Service experience preferred
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• TIPS certifications preferred
• Stand for up to 8 hours; lift up to 50 lbs; communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Complete knowledge of service time, menu, and specials
• Prepare, deliver and serve orders using MOS standards
• Inquire if additional service is needed and manage each check
• Assist with tray/tables pickup and room service setup
• Maintain cleanliness of room service areas and report issues
• Assist guests by guiding them to locations and ensuring safety and security policies followed
