Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Monroe, NC is seeking an Additive Manufacturing (AM) Process Engineer to develop, implement, validate, and sustain AM processes aligned with SPQDC objectives. Onsite, you will lead process qualifications, define process architecture in MES, and create templates guiding production execution.

You will build capability, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with Quality and Operations. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree and 5+ years of experience.
• 3+ years in laser powder bed fusion metal AM.
• 3+ years in manufacturing process development and troubleshooting.
• 2+ years in MES or digital manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own MES architecture for AM processes.
• Define AM process parameters and controlled documentation.
• Execute IQ, OQ, and MQ qualifications for equipment and processes.
• Lead SPC tracking and process capability analysis.
• Support PPAP inputs and control plans.
