Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking a dependable Custodian to maintain the Phoenix, AZ office and surrounding parking areas. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong time management, and excellent customer service for daily operations.

The position is full-time, hourly, with Monday to Friday 5:30am–2:30pm shifts. Responsibilities include exterior and interior cleaning, restroom upkeep, kitchen supply maintenance, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated self-starter ability.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to the office.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance and cleanup of building exterior and parking areas.
• Regular inside cleaning of common areas, restrooms, conference rooms, etc.
• Interior window and glass cleaning as needed.
• Maintenance of kitchen supplies and amenities (including frequent stocking).
• Safely use cleaning supplies and equipment including chemicals and light machinery.
• Drive to/from laundromat to drop off and pickup towels and related items.
• Additional tasks as assigned.
