Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is hiring an AM Kitchen Helper to support dining operations for residents. You will prepare and stock a fresh salad bar, assist in the dining room, and maintain clean, safe tableware and equipment.

No culinary experience required; 18+ years old; ability to obtain local food handler permits within two weeks. The role emphasizes friendly service and reliable teamwork in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• No previous culinary experience required.
• Able to obtain food handler permits within first two weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine by loading, running, unloading, and reporting any issues; monitor water temperatures for sanitization.
• Wash, store, and handle all tableware and kitchenware; keep dish room organized and stocked.
• Assist in dining room: bussing tables, refilling water, setting tables, delivering room-service orders.
• Safely use ovens, steamers, grills, and kitchen tools, including sharp utensils and small appliances.
• Listen and respond to food comments or complaints and report concerns to leadership.
• Perform support tasks and trash removal as needed.
