Job summary

Renaissance Boston Patriot Place, a Colwen Hotels property, is seeking an experienced Full-Time AM Cook to join our Food and Beverage team in Foxborough, MA. The ideal candidate will have cooking experience and a strong focus on dependability and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing dishes from recipe cards, maintaining quality and timing, ensuring food safety standards, and assisting in other kitchen areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Basic understanding of or ability to learn sanitation and safety regulations.
• Basic understanding of or ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior related kitchen experience preferred.
• ServSafe/safe food handling certification as required by individual property.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food following recipe cards and production standards.
• Adhere to Colwen and brand standards.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff.
• Follow Chef instructions and maintain high quality and timely output.
• Ensure proper time and temperature controls and food safety compliance.
• Assist in dish washing and other kitchen areas as needed.
• Note shortages and manage stock rotation.
• Operate and clean all kitchen equipment.
• Assist in prep work for the next shift.
