Job summary

AC Hotel Boston Downtown, a Colwen Hotels property, is seeking an experienced PM Cook to join our food and beverage team. The ideal candidate will have cooking experience and strong dependability and attention to detail.

This is a fast-paced environment with opportunity to contribute to a dynamic kitchen. Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining standards, cooking with the team, and ensuring safety and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and workplace safety.
• Basic understanding of food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently and with a team.
• Maintain personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food following recipe cards and standards.
• Adhere to Colwen and brand standards.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff.
• Follow chef instructions from executive or sous chef.
• Ensure food comes out high quality and timely.
• Date and rotate stored food items per safety standards.
• Maintain proper time and temperature standards.
• Comply with health, safety and hygiene codes.
