Job summary

Doubletree by Hilton Jacksonville Airport, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking a highly motivated Restaurant Server to deliver memorable guest experiences from greeting to bill presentation.

We require an early morning individual with 2-4 years of food service experience, knowledge of wine and beverages, and excellent communication skills. You will describe the menu, upsell thoughtfully, and work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure consistent service.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation required.
• Must be an early morning individual with reliable schedule.
• Excellent communication skills and engaging demeanor.
• Ability to describe menu items and upsell where appropriate.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails and spirits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for service.
• Greet guests as they arrive and guide them through dining.
• Describe the menu and make menu recommendations.
• Take orders accurately and confirm special requests.
• Be the master of the menu and answer questions about dishes.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen/bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Resolve guest concerns to leave them satisfied.
• Present the bill in a timely and accurate manner.
