Job summary

Seed House Project, based in Los Angeles, seeks a Life School Alumni Success Advisor to guide graduates into stable housing and a thriving alumni community. You’ll coordinate housing options, support monthly gatherings, and connect alumni with therapy, financial coaching, and life coaching services.

The role emphasizes warmth, accountability, and strong organization. A hybrid schedule with on-site days in Los Angeles supports community engagement and program operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, or related field
• 2+ years working with transition-age youth, system-impacted young adults, or people experiencing housing instability
• Knowledge of Los Angeles housing resources; housing navigation or case management experience a plus
• Training in trauma-informed care, Healing Centered Engagement, or Motivational Interviewing preferred
• Strong organization and record-keeping, including experience handling funds or financial documentation
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; valid California driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Housing Transition: Begin housing planning 3–6 months before graduation and support leases and tenant rights.
• Landlord & Housing Partnerships: Build relationships with landlords to grow housing options.
• Monthly Alumni Gatherings: Plan and lead one alumni gathering each month with logistics and budget.
• Alumni Engagement & Service Connection: Monthly check-ins and referrals to therapy, coaching and financial services.
• Emergency Fund Management: Process funding requests and ensure eligibility per protocol.
• Protocol & Requirements Compliance: Verify aftercare engagement and provide next steps.
