Job summary

Valley Hope of Grapevine seeks an experienced Alumni Coordinator to strengthen lifelong connections with alumni and families as part of our addiction treatment and recovery mission. In this full-time role, you plan and facilitate alumni events, maintain the alumni database, and coordinate with clinical and admissions teams.

Travel to outreach locations is required as needed; CPR certification and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of office administration or event planning experience.
• CPR certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison for alumni and fosters long-term relationships with the organization.
• Plans, coordinates and facilitates alumni and family support activities and events.
• Maintains alumni database including family contacts.
• Communicates with alumni via phone, email and text.
• Maintains and tracks alumni sobriety data via wellness checks.
• Collaborates with clinical staff to provide sponsor options for discharge patients.
• Meets with patient groups prior to discharge to introduce Alumni Program.
• Coordinates Alumni Chapter meetings across communities.
• Maintains list of alumni volunteers for various roles.
• Contributes content for CHESS eRecovery app and local activity monitoring.
