Job summary

The University of Richmond School of Law seeks an Operations Manager for Development and Alumni Relations to oversee annual giving, alumni communications, events, and data operations. This role reports to the Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Relations and collaborates with Law Communications, Career Services, Admissions, and the central Advancement Division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required and 2–4 years of project or event experience.
• Experience in development or alumni relations preferred.
• Experience with Blackbaud CRM or donor databases is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and implement annual giving and alumni relations programming.
• Coordinate year-round communications (print, digital, phone) and Giving Day activities.
• Track gifts and manage acknowledgement and stewardship processes.
• Plan and staff Law Advancement events; manage invitations, RSVPs and briefings.
• Design a student philanthropy program to build campus culture.
• Serve as data liaison; manage data in Blackbaud CRM and generate reports.
• Prepare mass emails and event pages via Blackbaud Internet Solutions.
