Job summary

University of Richmond's School of Law seeks an Operations Manager for Development and Alumni Relations to lead annual giving and alumni programs, manage events, and serve as the data liaison for donor information in Blackbaud CRM.

You will collaborate with the Law Communications & Events team, the Dean, and central Advancement to grow philanthropy, coordinate logistics, and provide strategic input on initiatives across alumni relations, leadership giving, and donor stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two to four years of project or events management experience.
• Valid driver's license and motor vehicle records check.
• Experience in development or alumni relations is strongly preferred.
• Computer proficiency with Blackbaud CRM or other donor databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and implement Annual Giving & Alumni Relations programming (70%).
• Manage gift tracking and acknowledgment/ stewardship processes.
• Coordinate law advancement events including invitations, RSVPs, day-of logistics, briefs, and communications.
• Design and implement a student philanthropy program.
• Track and manage data in donor database (Blackbaud CRM) and prepare reports.
• Prepare and send mass emails and event registration pages to law alumni.
• Monitor performance of print and electronic communications and track mailings.
• Monitor and report on law school budgets and allocate transactions to codes.
• Serve as first point of contact for Law Advancement inquiries.
• Manage team administrative needs and supervise a part-time student employee.
• Attend and contribute at Law Advancement meetings and initiatives.
