Job summary

Seattle University seeks an Associate Director of Development for the School of Law to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni and donors. The role focuses on leadership annual gifts and major gifts, building the donor pipeline and advancing engagement with University priorities.

You will collaborate across the School of Law and University Advancement to tailor strategies, coordinate donor meetings, and provide impactful stewardship and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of fundraising or development experience.
• Strong written and oral communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and engage a portfolio of alumni and donor prospects.
• Solicit leadership annual gifts and major gifts with strategic planning.
• Collaborate with school leadership and University Advancement teams.
• Prepare proposals, briefings, and stewardship reports for donors.
• Maintain accurate donor records and activity in the advancement system.
