Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an Assistant Director of Alumni Programs to join the Kenan-Flagler Advancement team. This role leads the 100 Women in Business initiative, develops alumni engagement strategies, and partners with external partners to drive philanthropy and alumni relations.

The position reports to the Executive Director of Leadership Giving and Engagement and involves recruiting and mentoring class connector volunteers, coordinating events, and supporting

Qualifications

• Understanding of alumni engagement principles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work some nights and weekends.
• Experience in a higher education environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and track giving related to 100 Women in Business and oversee the School's class connectors program.
• Recruit, train and manage class connector volunteers to engage alumni and drive attendance at events.
• Support the School's fundraising and alumni relations efforts and pass leads to appropriate Directors of Development.
• Conduct visits and discovery calls on behalf of Advancement to advance donor relationships.
