Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Director of Student and Alumni Engagement within the Kenan-Flagler Business School. The role oversees student experience from recruitment through career development and alumni relations for all UNC Kenan-Flagler programs, including MBA and BSBA.

The position reports to executive leadership and will collaborate with faculty, alumni and industry partners to expand career programming, strengthen employer connections and advance the school’s

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's and 0-2 years' experience; or combination of related education and experience in substitution.
• Candidates must have a passion for the Investment Management industry, knowledge of the business, and a genuine desire to work with students, alumni and faculty.
• Experience in Finance sector (investment management, capital markets, investment banking, sales and trading, or another relevant finance field) preferred.
• Experience in career services, educational programming, or higher education.

Responsibilities

• Recruit high quality prospective students through internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote and lead educational and career programming for students and alumni.
• Provide ad-hoc individualized industry advising.
• Create awareness about the Center with internal and external audiences.
• Raise national and global visibility of the Center by representing the IMC at conferences and key industry events.
• Recruit and engage Investment Management thought leaders to deliver programs and enhance engagement with students and alumni.
• Foster and deepen employer engagement in the Investment Management industry.
• Develop processes and planning initiatives across the IMC to optimize student and alumni experience.
• Participate in strategic planning and implement the center's plan with the Faculty Director and Executive Director.
