Job summary

Austin Community College is seeking an Alumni Engagement Officer. In this role, you will advance relationships within the alumni community while focusing on inclusivity and engagement.

Your responsibilities include recruiting and training volunteers, managing events, and developing diverse programs to connect alumni with each other and the University.

You will need strong communication skills and a proven ability to work across various social and cultural communities. Evening and weekend work will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or two years of experience in marketing, communication or related field.
• Proven skills in relationship building, recruiting, training and stewarding volunteer leaders.
• Successful experience working with diverse social and cultural communities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Alumni Relations team in building relationships across 37 alumni communities.
• Recruit, train and manage volunteers to engage alumni.
• Organize programming for the Reunion Weekend and other events.
