Job summary

American YouthWorks’ Conservation Corps is seeking an Employer Outreach and Alumni Specialist in Austin, TX to strengthen recruitment, engage alumni, and connect service with career pathways.

You will build outreach systems, maintain partnerships, and help participants translate their service into resumes and opportunities. This role reports to the Conservation Corps Director and collaborates with multiple teams to expand post-service outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in outreach, recruitment, or alumni engagement.
• Experience with CRM or data-tracking systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support outreach and recruitment for Conservation Corps programs across regions.
• Develop alumni communications and engagement activities.
• Translate service experience into career-ready language for resumes and applications.
• Coordinate with staff to plan career exposure events and employer panels.
• Track outreach and alumni outcomes in organizational systems.
