Job summary

Western Carolina University seeks an Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement to strengthen alumni connections through college-based and affinity-based programs, communications, and events in support of institutional priorities.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Annual Giving and Engagement, this role leads engagement initiatives, coordinates with campus partners, and helps identify volunteer leaders and prospective donors while maintaining alumni records in Raiser's Edge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience with public relations, volunteer groups, and event coordination (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Strengthen alumni connections through engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate college-based and affinity-based events and communications.
• Maintain accurate alumni records in Raiser's Edge and collaborate with Advancement staff.
