Job summary

York Technical College seeks an Alumni Development Coordinator to plan, develop, and execute programs engaging alumni and community prospects to create annual giving resources. The role includes managing a Phonathon program, coordinating alumni events, and developing affinity partnerships to support the College’s fundraising goals.

The candidate will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, oversee stewardship and reporting, and collaborate with the College Advancement team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least one year of experience with alumni/client relations, fundraising, special events planning, grant writing, non-profit development and/or advancement services
• Experience with proposal development and grant writing
• At least two years of professional experience in higher education

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute programs to engage, cultivate, and solicit alumni and community prospects to create an ongoing base of annual giving resources.
• Develop and execute Phonathon Program strategies; recruit, organize, training, directing, and retaining of volunteers and student callers.
• Coordinate career development and life-long learning programs for alumni; recruit and organize alumni volunteers for participation and donor stewardship.
• Plan and lead special events and affinity partnerships; secure sponsorships and develop marketing materials to support college goals.
