Qualifications

• Must be a current MSU student
• Must maintain satisfactory academic progress
• Must feel comfortable performing tasks that are not routine but rather are more complex and sometimes confidential in nature
• Must have the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to work somewhat independently, utilizing initiative and a moderate level of judgment
• Must be able to operate various office equipment such as copier, telephone, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparation, and execution of alumni events and activities.
• Help with event setup, breakdown, and general event support.
• Support alumni engagement initiatives and outreach efforts.
• Assist with creating, scheduling, and sharing content for social media platforms.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and databases.
• Conduct research to support alumni relations, fundraising, and development initiatives.
• Assist with donor stewardship activities, including preparing correspondence and materials.
• Help prepare mailings, invitations, promotional materials, and other office communications.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Alumni Relations and Development office.
