Job summary

The Regents of the University of California on behalf of their Los Angeles Campus is seeking an Assistant Director to lead UCLA ONE, our premier networking platform, and to drive engagement across our digital communities. You will work with the Alumni Career Engagement team and External Affairs to expand platforms, improve user experiences, and create meaningful mentorship opportunities for Bruins.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in volunteer, student, marketing, educational technology, program development, career counseling/career development or related environment.
• Experience in managing an online community and platform for growth with strategies for user acquisition and engagement.
• Ability to respond to constituent inquiries in a customer-service oriented environment.
• Experience with Canva/Photoshop or similar image tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, daily management, and growth of UCLA ONE networking platform.
• Drive engagement across digital communities including LinkedIn, social media, and email channels.
• Collaborate with Alumni Career Engagement and External Affairs teams to improve user experiences.
• Develop mentorship programs and engagement opportunities for Bruins.
• Coordinate with volunteers and staff to implement programs and initiatives.
