Qualifications

Pay: $21.00/hour + $150/Per Diem

Industry: Shipyard / Marine

Bonus: $300.00

Position: Aluminum Fabricator

We are currently seeking experienced Aluminum Fabricators for shipyard work. Candidates should have previous shipyard experience and hands-on experience with aluminum fabrication and MIG-Pulse aluminum welding.

This position requires candidates who can safely and accurately fabricate, fit, and weld aluminum components according to drawings, specifications, and shipyard quality standards.

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding shipyard environment.
  • Must be able to successfully complete required weld testing.
Welding Test

Candidates must successfully complete:

  • 2G MIG-Pulse – Aluminum
  • 3G MIG-Pulse – Aluminum
  • 4G MIG-Pulse – Aluminum
  • Visual inspection and bend testing
  • No X-ray testing
Safety & Environmental Factors

All employees are expected to adhere to the company’s safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves working under extreme hot or cold conditions and requires the physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Team members must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
