Job summary

Ameri-Force, Inc. is seeking an experienced Aluminum Fabricator for shipyard work in the United States. The role involves fabricating, fitting, and welding aluminum components according to drawings and shipyard standards, with MIG-Pulse welding in multiple positions.

The position requires 3+ years of shipyard experience and strong reading of blueprints, layout, and measuring. Eligible candidates can expect $21.00/hour plus $150 per diem and a $300 bonus, with comprehensive Ameri-Force benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of shipyard experience required.
• Experience with aluminum fabrication and MIG-Pulse welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong measuring, fitting, and layout skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding shipyard environment.
• Must pass weld testing.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit, and weld aluminum components used in ship construction.
• Perform MIG-Pulse welding on aluminum in multiple positions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare aluminum material for fabrication and welding.
• Inspect fit-up and completed work for proper dimensions and quality.
• Use grinders, measuring tools, and other fabrication equipment as required.
• Follow all shipyard safety procedures and welding requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
