Job summary

KLA in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an ECAD Librarian to create, update, and manage electronic component libraries used in PCB design. You will ensure accuracy, standards compliance (JEDEC/IPC), and close collaboration with hardware engineers to support design processes.

Applicants should have 3–5 years ECAD library experience, strong ORCAD/Allegro skills, and basic drafting with Python or Perl scripting for automation. A Master’s or a Bachelor’s with relevant experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with 0 years related work experience or Bachelor’s with 2 years related work experience
• ECAD library experience preferred
• Proficiency in ORCAD and Allegro essential

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain electronic component libraries within ECAD software
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure library accuracy and design integrity
• Perform library audits and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure libraries comply with JEDEC and IPC standards
• Research new components and technologies for library updates
