Job summary

PIMCO seeks an Associate for its Alternatives Business Management team in Newport Beach. You will support deal execution and transaction management across the private alternatives platform, coordinating with Legal, Operations, Finance, Tax, Risk, Compliance, and Trading to move transactions from pipeline to close.

This role offers exposure across the investment lifecycle and a chance to work with senior stakeholders while building a holistic view of how private deals are structured and managed

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience; internships considered.
Exposure to buy-side or sell-side trading environment preferred.
Fixed Income knowledge required; residential loan or consumer asset class desirable.
Compliance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Liaise with PMs and cross-functional teams to ensure policy and process completion before close.
Assist deal desks with pipeline management and deal setup in DealCloud.
Coordinate with Ops, Finance, Tax, Risk, and Compliance on liquidity timing and reporting.
Support quarterly Origination and Asset Management reporting.
