Job summary

PIMCO Europe Ltd. in Newport Beach seeks an Associate to join the Alternatives Business Management team.

The role supports deal execution and transaction management across private alternatives, coordinating with Legal, Operations, Finance, Tax, Risk, Compliance, and Trading to move opportunities from pipeline to close. You will work directly with Portfolio Managers and senior stakeholders, gaining exposure across the full investment lifecycle and developing a holistic understanding of deal

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience; internship experience considered.
Exposure to a buy-side or sell-side trading environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of Fixed Income; residential loan or consumer asset class desirable.
Excellent communications and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Liaise with PM and all relevant support groups to ensure internal policies and processes are completed prior to close.
Work with Trade Assistants and Trade Compliance to ensure smooth trade flow process.
Coordinate with all groups on the NST checklist process and completion.
Assist PMs with Desk’s deal pipeline management and settlement information, coordinating with Alts Operations and Alts Finance on liquidity timing and reporting.
