Job summary

CBRE Government & Defense Services is seeking an Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO)/OSM to manage all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and ensure compliance with U.S. Government security requirements for classified contracts.

The role oversees security policies, training, and incident reporting, while maintaining personnel security files, PCLs, and facility clearance requirements. Occasional travel up to 10% and security operations form the base of this role.

Qualifications

• Related degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years experience in industrial security.
• Experience with secure facilities and classified information systems preferred.
• Government clearance eligibility (Top-Secret) and CDSE FSO courses beneficial.
• ISP (Industrial Security Professional) or CISSP credentials advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary security contact for classified government contracts.
• Implement and manage NISPOM, ICDs, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain personnel security clearances (PCLs) and facility clearance (FCL).
• Manage security records, visits, and classified information handling.
• Conduct security training and briefings for staff.
• Coordinate with DCSA for audits, inspections, and reporting.
• Investigate security violations and incidents, report findings.
• Oversee security systems access control and incident reporting.
• Support DD Form 254 compliance and related contractual obligations.
