Job summary

ACET, Incorporated is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer to oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s industrial security program in accordance with NISP and other regulations. The FSO will support multiple DoD, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, SOCOM, and IC programs, based in Havelock, NC.

The role requires strong leadership with extensive experience managing cleared facilities, security compliance programs, and contract execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of Industrial Security experience supporting DoD contracts.
• Minimum 5 years serving as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Assistant FSO.
• Experience maintaining DoD Facility Clearance (FCL).
• Experience administering security programs for organizations with 250+ employees.
• Current FSO certification (or ability to obtain/maintain required certification).
• Thorough knowledge of classified contract administration.
• Experience supporting multiple Government agencies and prime contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Industrial Security Program Management as ACET's FSO.
• Administer and manage the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
• Maintain ACET's Facility Clearance (FCL).
• Ensure compliance with security regulations and customer directives.
• Develop and maintain corporate security policies and procedures.
• Prepare for and support DCSA security reviews, inspections, and audits.
• Manage personnel security activities including sponsorships, investigations, upgrades, transfers, debriefings, and indoctrinations.
• Maintain personnel security records for 280–500 employees (cleared and uncleared).
• Coordinate with DCSA and government offices regarding facility clearance requirements.
• Oversee classified document control, safeguarding, marking, and destruction.
