Job summary

Buckle is opening a new store in Elizabethtown, KY, and is hiring for a part-time Seamstress/Tailor to support alterations and customer service. The role involves hemming jeans and pants, measuring and marking alteration lines, and using Buckle sewing equipment to complete requests efficiently.

Responsibilities include meeting guest specifications, keeping accurate alteration logs, and staying flexible with hours during peak shopping periods. Prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related sewing/alteration experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and guest specifications.

• Accommodate Guests with on the spot alterations when requested by Store Leaders
• Meet deadlines and Guest expectations for merchandise alterations
• Record alterations and maintain alteration log
