Job summary
PIMCO is seeking an Alternatives Investment Operations Intern for a 10-week program starting in early June, available from June to mid-August at Newport Beach, CA or New York City. You will support the daily operations of the alternatives business, collaborating with Portfolio Management, Legal, Compliance, Finance and external service providers.
The internship offers hands-on experience with AI-powered tools, exposure to debt, private equity and real estate assets, and a structured mentorship
Qualifications
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree
- Must be able to begin full time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2028 - August 2028
- Must be enrolled at a university during Fall 2027 semester
- Have a minimum 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Business proficient in English
Responsibilities
- Support the smooth operation of PIMCO’s alternatives business across relevant funds and accounts
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Legal, Compliance, Finance and external service providers
- Ensure timely settlement and management of debt and private equity assets
- Support transformative strategic initiatives led by the team
