Qualifications

• Are business proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Trade Support & Settlement: support trade execution, settlement, and lifecycle events for alternatives transactions across debt, private equity, real estate, and other non-traditional assets.
• Asset Onboarding & Data Integrity: assist with setup, maintenance, and validation of alternative investment assets, legal entities, counterparty details, and related data.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: collaborate with Portfolio Management, Legal, Compliance, Finance, custodians, trustees, administrators, and other partners to resolve operational issues and support timely execution.
• Process Improvement & Controls: contribute to initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, reduce risk, and enhance scalability of PIMCO's alternatives platform.

Since launching its first opportunistic credit vehicles over 15 years ago, PIMCO has developed a significant presence in both alternative credit and private investment strategies. As an Alternatives Investment Operations Intern, you will support the smooth operation of PIMCO's alternatives business across relevant funds and accounts. Yo u will collaborate with key partners, including Portfolio Management, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and external service providers, to ensure the timely settlement and management of debt and private equity assets. You will also support transformative strategic initiatives that are being led by the team.
