Qualifications

• Active Indiana Paramedic certification/licensure required.
• Experience in EMS/ALS operations or related clinical environments.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DEA regulations and controlled-substance handling.
• Ability to interpret state and federal regulations and maintain compliance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ALS operations and coordinate clinical and operational activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Paramedics, EMTs, and other staff.
• Ensure certifications, licenses, and competencies are maintained.
• Monitor compliance with EMS standards, regulations, and policies.
• Manage controlled substances handling and DEA compliance.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Support QA/QI initiatives and review clinical documentation.
• Promote professionalism, accountability, and patient-centered care.
• Participate in staff education and competency initiatives.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions.
