Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Ground Paramedic to provide direct patient care and transportation for emergent and non-emergent calls. You will operate within EMS protocols and under Medical Control while delivering high-quality patient care.

The role requires current paramedic certification, state license, and ACLS; PALS and NRP are preferred or required within 6 months. Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork are essential in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Paramedic program certificate/associates preferred.
• Current paramedic certification; National Registry and state Driver’s License required.
• CPR, ACLS, PALS; NRP preferred or required within 6 months as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls; performs ALS assessment and triage.
• Administers Advanced Life Support under Medical Control; adheres to EMS protocols.
• Ensures vehicles/equipment are ready for shift; safe vehicle operation.
