Mercyhealth seeks a transport paramedic to deliver high-quality critical care during pre-hospital transport. You will coordinate with the medical team, perform advanced life support, and ensure accurate patient documentation. The role includes rotating day/night shifts and weekend/holiday coverage.

You must hold National Registry and Paramedic licensure in the practice state, with IL/WI licensure within 90 days. Expect a demanding but rewarding environment across multiple Mercyhealth facilities.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years' recent experience in a busy 911 system with ALS experience.
• National Registry Certification required.
• Paramedic license in the state of practice is required.
• Dual Illinois and Wisconsin licensure within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Provides pre-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintains thorough patient care documentation.
• Reports equipment failures and ensures repair as directed.
• Floats to Mercyhealth facilities as needed.
• Maintains supplies and participates in ongoing education.
