Job summary

Astrya Global, a San Diego-based medical staffing agency, is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 20-week temporary assignment in Pahala, Hawaii. The position runs 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential extension based on need and performance.

Applicants must hold an active Hawaii PT license, maintain BLS, and be able to coverage Acute Rehabilitation with secondary duties in SNF/ICF settings. Documentation is via Meditech EMR, with weekly pay and long-term credentialing support.

Qualifications

• License to practice Physical Therapy in Hawaii required before start.
• Maintain BLS certification throughout assignment.
• Minimum 6 months of work experience in adult care settings.
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR for documentation and charting.
• Ability to work variable shifts including weekends/holidays; travel not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary coverage in Acute Rehabilitation with secondary coverage in SNF/ICF settings.
• Evaluate and re-evaluate residents and patients and adjust plans accordingly.
• Plan and implement ongoing PT programs as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide consulting PT services as needed.
• Document patient care in Meditech EMR per policy.
• Maintain flexibility with schedule: Mon-Fri, Tue-Sat, or Sun-Thurs.

Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Schedule: 7:00AM - 3:00PM x 5
Term: 20-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $54 - $58/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PT for a temporary assignment in Pahala, Hawaii. These positions are 20-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a PT:

• Obtain and maintain an active State of Hawaii license prior to the start of the assignment
• Provide primary coverage in Acute Rehabilitation with secondary coverage in ICF/SNF Rehabilitation settings
• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned residents and patients
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic Physical Therapy programs as prescribed by the attending physician and/or consulting specialist
• Provide consulting Physical Therapist services as needed
• Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation and charting
• Be available to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary based on operational needs
• Work variable schedule including Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat, or Sun-Thurs, 8:30am-5:00pm
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Possess a minimum of 6 months of work experience in at least one of the following adult care settings: Acute, Rehabilitation Hospital, or SNF
• Arrive the Thursday prior to the assignment start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday
