Job summary

Inceptive is seeking an Alliance Manager to lead and grow strategic partnerships in oligonucleotide therapeutics, with a focus on siRNA drug discovery. Qualifications

• Ph.D. or MS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related life sciences field; MBA a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in alliance management, business development, or strategic partnerships within biopharma/biotech.
• Working knowledge of oligonucleotide therapeutics—siRNA biology and drug development challenges.
• Experience managing complex multi-party collaborations from initiation to delivery.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to influence without direct authority.
• Project management skills; familiarity with tools like Linear, Notion, or equivalents.
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in drug discovery.
• Experience negotiating term sheets, CDAs, MTAs, or master collaboration agreements.
• Existing network in oligonucleotide therapeutics ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface for siRNA and oligonucleotide partnerships and manage day-to-day alliance operations.
• Establish and lead Joint Steering Committees and Joint Research Committees; prepare agendas and action tracking.
• Monitor milestones and deliverables; resolve issues that jeopardize partnership success.
• Coordinate cross-functional internal teams to fulfill partner obligations and advance programs.
• Drive successful execution of partnered programs and explore expansion opportunities.
• Prepare documents and presentations for senior management to guide deal decisions.
• Occasional travel for industry events and collaboration milestones.
• Work primarily at office locations to enable in-person collaboration.
