Job summary

South Carolina ENT (SCENT) is seeking an Allergy Technician to assist in delivering high‑quality allergy care. You will perform allergy testing, administer immunotherapy, educate patients, and maintain detailed records under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate has attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for patient care. Prior outpatient/ENT/allergy experience is preferred; familiarity with EHRs is expected.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification preferred or required in SC
• Active LPN license required in the state of practice
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Experience in outpatient or ENT/allergy settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform allergy testing (skin prick, intradermal, patch tests)
• Administer allergy immunotherapy injections and SLIT
• Prepare and mix allergen extracts per physician protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records (test results, treatment plans)
• Educate patients on allergy testing procedures and management
