Job summary

South Carolina ENT (SCENT) is seeking an Allergy Technician to assist in delivering high-quality allergy care. You will perform testing, administer immunotherapy, and educate patients under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for patient care, with Medical Assistant Certification preferred for South Carolina and CPR certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required for South Carolina.
• CPR Certification preferred/required for SC.

Responsibilities

• Perform allergy testing, including skin prick, intradermal, and patch tests.
• Administer allergy immunotherapy injections and sublingual treatments.
• Prepare and mix allergen extracts per physician protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and test results.
• Educate patients on procedures and allergy management.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and provide care as needed.
• Maintain a clean, infection-controlled clinical environment.
• Order and manage allergy testing/treatment supplies.
