Job summary

CLS Health in Houston, TX is seeking a friendly Medical Assistant to welcome patients and support a busy Allergy Clinic. The role involves learning allergy testing, immunotherapy, and specialty procedures while ensuring smooth patient flow from check-in to check-out.

You will work with physicians and the team to document vitals and histories, assist with procedures, and educate patients in a collaborative, physician-led environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, bubbly personality and excellent patient interaction skills.
• Willingness to learn allergy testing, immunotherapy, and specialty procedures.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable using EMR and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for appointments in a warm, welcoming manner.
• Obtain and document vitals, histories, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
• Assist clinicians during allergy evaluations, skin testing, and immunotherapy injections.
• Educate patients on testing schedules, treatments, and aftercare.
• Support check-in to check-out processes and patient flow.
