Texas Multi-Specialty Group is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for immediate hire to support multiple Houston-area locations. The role requires initiative, reliability, and teamwork, with duties spanning patient triage, vital signs, EMR documentation, injections, spirometry, allergy testing, and allergy injections under supervision.

Strong communication skills and 1 year of MA experience are required; bilingual ability is a plus.

Formación

• 1 year of medical assistant experience is required.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and be responsive to inquiries with a positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow oral and written instructions with ease.
• Ability to work effectively and independently with staff, physicians and patients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Triaging patients, taking vital signs and documentation in EMR system including reconciling medications.
• Administering injections and performing spirometry/pulmonary function tests.
• Performing and documenting allergy skin tests, such as scratch, prick, intradermal, and patch tests.
• Administer allergy injections and prepare customized allergen extract vials under a provider's supervision.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions or anaphylaxis following testing or injections, and respond according to clinic emergency protocols.
• Obtaining medical records as required for patient appointments.
