COLORADO ALLERGY & ASTHMA CENTERS in Centennial, CO is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a full-time role. The position involves direct and indirect patient care under physician and office management, with focus on teamwork, patient satisfaction, and efficient front-desk operations.

Responsibilities include front desk duties, basic computer tasks, and ensuring HIPAA/OSHA compliance. The role requires MA-related education, CPR certification, and a professional, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Prerequisites: Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant School or Licensed Medical Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, or combination of experience and education.
• Current CPR Certification.
• HepB vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Shows competency as a Medical Office Assistant.
• Demonstrates competency in Clinic Assistant I and II Skill Modules within 120 days of employment; Clinic Assistant III within first year.
• Shows competency in basic computer skills.
• Assures patient satisfaction by working as a team member with all personnel.
• Front Desk & Cross-Training duties: answering phones, check in/out patients, scheduling appointments, processing billing and insurance information, compliance with insurance regulations.
• Maintains open communication and a team-oriented work environment.
• Takes initiative and is a self-starter.
• Performs additional duties as deemed necessary.
• OSHA and HIPAA compliant.
