Job description

All Source Intelligence Analyst SME

***This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance***

Cherokee Preting seeks highly qualified individuals to serve as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst Subject Matter Expert (ASA SME) supporting USSOCOM. The ASA SME researches, identifies, and fuses intelligence from all disciplines—HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT/PAI, Cyber, and military reconnaissance—to develop comprehensive understandings from tactical to strategic levels within their portfolio. They serve as the lead analyst and technical expert, with primary responsibility over their assigned portfolio, mentoring junior analysts as needed. They demonstrate expertise in analytic techniques and current tools, producing high-quality intelligence products such as assessments, papers, and presentations, and delivering briefings as required.

Employees must maintain global readiness and be available for deployment on short notice to hazardous or combat zones, potentially living in austere conditions for extended periods.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay is commensurate with experience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and others, subject to change.

Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in all-source intelligence analysis and production to support USSOCOM operations.
  2. Plan, research, evaluate, and organize intelligence analysis for current and future operations.
  3. Produce reports and assessments in various formats.
  4. Present intelligence briefings to leadership and personnel within USSOCOM and DoD.
  5. Engage with counterparts across the intelligence community and government agencies, including real-time communication with combatant commands and deployed forces.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Minimum 10 years of analytical intelligence operations experience, including at least 5 years working with or for national intelligence agencies such as NSA, CIA, or DIA.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting special operations.
  • At least 5 years current experience with recent analytic tools.
  • 3 years of experience writing formal intelligence assessments.
  • 4 years of experience delivering briefings at senior levels (O-6/GS-15 or higher).
  • Experience creating instructional and informational materials using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to obtain necessary immunizations.
  • Proficiency with current all-source analytic techniques and methodologies.
  • Valid US passport required.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Ability to pass pre-deployment requirements, including medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screenings.
  • Must meet Cherokee Federal pre-employment standards.
