Job summary

Lidl US in Sanford, NC is seeking Store Associates to keep daily operations running smoothly across checkout, stocking, bakery, and produce in a fast-paced, team environment. You will engage customers with friendly service, follow safety and cleanliness standards, manage daily tasks, and help display weekly promotions.

Starting pay is $18 per hour with benefits and training. This role offers real impact every hour as you move between tasks to ensure accuracy, speed, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with friendly, efficient service.
• Switch between checkout, stocking, and areas like bakery or produce.
• Meet productivity goals with urgency and Lidl processes.
• Run daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas.
• Set up non-food promotional displays and weekly offers with accurate pricing.
• Maintain cleanliness standards on sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
• Operate register quickly and accurately, memorize PLUs.
• Handle customer inquiries and returns, resolve issues.
• Help keep inventory accurate and reduce stock loss.
• Follow safety procedures and support smooth operations for next shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
