Job summary

Lidl Atlanta is seeking Store Associates to help run day-to-day store operations across checkout, stocking, bakery, and produce areas. This position supports daily promotional setups with strong emphasis on efficiency and customer service.

You will follow Lidl processes, maintain cleanliness, and ensure accurate signage and pricing. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a global retail organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
• Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with friendly, efficient service that makes their trip easy.
• Seamlessly transition between checkout, stocking, and specialized areas like bakery or produce.
• Meet productivity goals by working with urgency and following Lidl’s processes.
• Execute daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas.
• Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards across sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
• Create a smooth checkout experience by operating the register quickly and accurately.
• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and resolve issues professionally.
• Help keep inventory accurate and minimize stock loss.
• Ensure a safe environment by following safety procedures and guidelines.
• Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time for next shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
