Northrop Grumman in Boulder, CO is seeking an Algorithms Software Engineer at Level 2 or Level 3. You will develop, analyze, test and implement extendable tracking algorithms for missile tracking, using Modern C++ and Python, and contribute to documentation of models and filters.

The role requires a STEM degree with related experience, Linux proficiency, and an active/clearable U.S. Government Secret clearance. Travel up to 10% may be needed; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of related experience or Master’s with 0-2 years of related experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ development and data analysis for tracking algorithms.
• Experience with Linux utilities and numerical computing concepts (linear algebra, differential equations, optimization).

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze tracking algorithms for missile tracking applications.
